Round 1 part 3

I quickly head deeper in the forest, making sure to make noises on the way. I want him to follow me. I'll get him to think that I'm just running away. Soon I'll sneak behind him and finish him. It might not work, considering he is an otherworldly being, but I have to start somewhere. I begin the sneaking, I can hear Nyx coming from behind. I head to the left and head behind a tree (really, what else is there to hide behind) Nyx passes by and I head behind him. I get my spear ready, aim right in the center of his chest. I place my palm to the butt of my spear and thrust for the kill. "GAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"I miss Nyx and look behind me to see what the pain came from... Hail bit my ass "Sonova!" Nyx turns around and launches me backward. Hail loses his grip and I fall hard on my back. I can't let this keep me down. I get up and dash in the opposite direction. "got you," he calls out. "Damn it, he's smarter than I thought," I run deeper into the forest and do the same tactic. "I totally forgot about Hail," I head to the right and wait. The same thing happens. He arrives, I head behind him, and I ready the spear. I can see Nyx smiling as if to say "You fell for it again? God you're stupid," I know your plan Nyx. I turn my attention to my back, and sure enough, there is Hail in mid-pounce. I swing my spear behind me, entering the spearhead into Hail's lower back, and exiting his upper back. As soon as the spear left Hail's body, I send the spear behind me, hoping to get it into Nyx as well. I just nick him as he jumps back and as Hail hits the floor screaming in agonizing pain."Damn it," Nyx says. I quickly stab hail once again to make sure it doesn't come after me and head deeper into the forest. "HAIL!" Nyx shouts behind me. One down, one to go. It's starting to get harder and harder to breathe. The tar from the cigarette is starting to collect in my throat. I just keep running. I know that Nyx is enraged, there's no doubt in my mind. He's going to be out for revenge. First I have to catch my breath. I choose a great place to hide, beneath a big tree is a bunch of leaves. I look around and there is a hole big enough for me to get in and out with ease filled with leaves. I take out the leaves head in the hole and cover myself with leaves. Thankfully the sun has set and the moon is out. It's really dark out I can barely see a thing. That's a good thing. If I can't see, he can't see. Although I do have my scope in my pocket. I'm glad I upgraded the scope to have night vision before the tournament. I can hear Nyx approaching. Well, more like feel him. I can taste his rage in my mouth. I put my scope to my eye and see Nyx coming. His head is lowered, his body hung over, his bow and arrow have been drawn and he seems to be muttering something. "Called it," I whisper. I'm not worried. If I start panicking, I'm going to get sloppy, and I can't afford that. Nyx looks up and fires an arrow in my direction. It barely nicks the tip of my head, knocking the leaves, revealing my hair. If he gets close enough, he will clearly see me, and an arrow is going through my skull. He's getting closer. Slowly, but surely. Step-by -step, closing in. I can hear him calling out "Where are you? Where are you Sharp?" He's about three steps away from me. "Groan....." What the? "Hrrrrrggg Graaaaaaahhhhh!" Me and Nyx turn to my left, it's that zombie that I outran when I found the dark matter tribe girl, and it's running straight for Nyx. That damn thing is wearing my overcoat! "I told you I don't have time for you!" Nyx shouts out. I guess it was that zombie that was chasing Nyx earlier. My breath has finally caught up with me as Nyx draws his bow and shoots an arrow through the zombie's forehead. "Now," I mutter. I place the scope back in my pocket.
